I'm not talking about his ability to play the game, most of us know that he cannot do it. But you have to notice that there are plenty of backup/ practice qb that cannot play either. I mean Philly dropped him for Stephen Morris, a true nobody. But having ESPN all over Tebow puts unneeded pressure on a team. Think about what the calls would have been for Tebow to start in Philly after that Dallas game. Am I incorrect?

I think he'd be more likely to be in the NFL without the media

Not as long as the anti-Christian media continues to undermine his efforts.

No. He's terrible at football. How many times does he have to get cut for people to realize this?

I can't tell if this is something you actually believe or just a troll statement.

Would read again.

I think he might have made it if he played Tight-end or Fullback.

Tebow was the most effective QB goal-line runner I have ever seen. With the new rules regarding 2 point conversions I think he would be worth a roster spot.

There were reports that a lot of teams were leery of signing him both when Denver was trading him after getting Manning and after he was cut by the Jets. Reportedly teams were shying away from him not because of his abilities but because they didn't want the fan-induced Tebowmania to kick up the minute their starting QB threw an incomplete pass. It wasn't so much Tebow as it was his traveling group of fans.

I did read it and I don't remember ESPN being "all over" Tebow when he was with the Eagles. They reported on his progress and chances to make the team but it wasn't like it was a huge distraction for the team. Tebow just isn't good enough to make an NFL roster and apparently teams would rather have other guys on the practice squad or he turns down that opportunity to be on TV (which I don't blame him for).

I agree--the media circus is too much of a distraction. Without it he'd just be another below average passer.

Really? Name any other 3rd string qb battle in the NFL that got daily coverage and a daily interview on TV.

Tebow would be a terrible 2pt QB. He cant throw.

He'd currently be in Asia all over foreskin if not for the media. He should be thankful any media entity, nonetheless the worldwide leader, would give such an awkward individual who contributes very little meaningful analysis the platform he has.

No. Tebow would be in the NFL is it wasn't more important to him to play the prestige position of QB than a less prestigious one like a fullback or utility type player.

He could be in the NFL today...if he was open to switching positions, like...you know...a shite ton of other former college football greats who simply were not the right fit for the NFL at their former position.

Dude has no interest in being an NFL player unless it's entirely on his terms. Good for him, I guess...but he ought not have people asking if he could be there without acknowledging he could but for his own hard- headedness.

But holds the single game passing record. So much for not being able to 'throw'
