Exactly. In basketball the five best players may not be the best lineup due to synergy, but in baseball where there is little interaction between players, I'd want the best player at every position.

I dont get how we got all these stud bats but on the pitching staff we have guys like pat neshek, luke gregerson???? I mean those guys are meh at best

This team offensively is the best I've seen the USA put out for this tourney. The pitching is nowhere near all star material.

I am sure it's because the best pitchers don't want any stressful innings this early and just want to build up strength during spring training.

The only one who hasn't gotten normal spring training work was Roark
