Will the Astros pay for Altuve and Correa when they become FA?

They'll keep one. Only about 5 teams would be willing to pay both and the Stros aren't one of them, especially with Bregman as well.

You may be on to something. I'm just skeptical because it's going to take 120 mil a piece and the Astros don't like to spend. I hope they can get something done with both, but they would get HUGE money and years elsewhere.

Yup, the Astros have two very talented outfield prospects in their pipeline with Fisher and Tucker. They'll be fine if Springer leaves. Correa and especially Altuve are irreplaceable. Give them what they want and lock them up long-term.

Correa' dream team is the Yankees. I'm not sure if crane will be able to compete with a bidding war.
