Growing up, I loved Irish football on NBC.

But, it's never be like it was in 90's again. LSU may not let the Irish next week.

They weren't that great in the '90s aside from the Bettis, Mirer years.

Do you even 2012 bro?

I really thought Golson was the guy to get them there, this year or next. If he has another bad year next year, I think B Kelly leaves and it's another decade of transition. But, B Kelly is a hell of a coach and only a few guys could do better than him.

it's possibly with the right head coaching hire.

They'll recruit decent enough to have their 10 win seasons. Then once in a blue moon they'll get into the playoffs. They seem to be around BCS games and then in the Championship game once.

I'm convinced if nd beat fsu they would have remained undefeated and in the playoffs. The coach couldn't sell his players to get their composure together.

Not until they let the low level academic athletes in.

I think they can be a top 20 annual program. They make shite tons of money, but the lack of conference will hurt with the new format. But let's face it, they will always be a media darling due to the large alumi base in Chicago and NYC

Y'all lost to bama in the NCG, we lost to bama.

Y'all don't have conference, so it's a wash.
