Why don't you think he "got a chance" in Seattle?

Do you really believe that they signed him to a $26 million deal and later decided to find someone in the third round to give his job to?

I pull for Flynn as much as the next LSU fan but come on

You'd have to be a true rantard to start Flynn over Wilson given 20/20 hindsight.

Matt Flynn only played one year as a starting QB in college.

He's not on Cam's level. Don't expect him to start. I promise this guy isn't even talked about...we just happen to be affiliated with the school he went to so he's brought up. If he was supposed to start, he would have started by now.

You don't give him the contract he got if you never expect him to start. It just so happens that a 3rd rounder came in and played incredible. I'd bet there is still interest in Flynn as a starter in this league.

I'm assuming he won't have much say-so, but if I were him, I wouldn't want to go there. He would have no one to throw to and it doesn't look like they are going to re-sign Jake Long.

they like their QB. Their coach was OC in green bay and chose not to sign him last year

He got beat out by a 3rd round rookie fair and square.

Let's not get carried away here. We all know Flynn is a talented, capable starting NFL QB. We all know that the Seahawks got lucky with how Wilson turned out and has no bearing on the ability of Flynn.

Wilson is good, but just like RGIII, there's a reason why running quarterbacks just don't last long in the NFL. And, unlike RGIII, unfortunately for Wilson, he's not a "good enough" pocket passer to become one dimensional.

I thought he had a offer from them but the seahawks offered more money

Now My wish for Matt would be to go to someone like Arizona that is just one or two playmakers away from making some noise.

I think Wilson is the real deal. He has the talent to make the game look easy to him. He has the work ethic and intelligence to keep abreast of the changes. If he doesn't get the big head like Cam, and he doesn't appear to be the Me, Me, type individual. His team mates seem to like and respect him.

Flynn will probably still get another chance to earn a starting job at another team. Not enough good quarterbacks and too many injuries for him to always sit. If not, he is making a good living carrying a clipboard.

are you kidding?

Russell Wilson probably had the most accurate arm coming out of college with MAYBE Luck in front of him. He's a great pocket passer and is a run 2nd guy

RG3 runs WAY more. Wilson also takes way less hits and doesn't really break big runs

I still think he can start in the NFL--not sure if Wilson isn't more than a one year wonder.

Really? LSU fans need to let go of this Flynn is great shite. Wilson is a far better qb than Flynn. He was beaten out by a 5'11 rookie. If Wilson is a one year wonder then that makes Flynn a one game wonder.

It looks like the Russell Wilson fan club came out of the woodwork. Let's not nominate him for the NFL Hall of Fame just yet.

Yeah , because being better than Flynn means he has to be hall of fame. Flynn made his money off of ONE GAME. One. Game.

A player who only slipped to the 3rd round due to concerns over his height (lack there of). If he was 3-4 inches taller, Wilson probably goes top of 1st round but no later than early 2nd.
