No however I doubt he ever gets the chance to redeem himself since no one will want to touch him. He permabaned himself

They should be more worried about the murder/suicide statement

That actually happened not that long ago in kc

If he was an awesome NFL QB, then he would get a couple more chances (but the time would be running out at this point, for sure).

However, as he is really "meh" and has demonstrated he has a 5 cent head, he's probably "done" done - unless he wants to play Canadian or Arena football. He could still sell a few seats there.

Kind of a weird fetish, but to each their own

He's probably banned by default. What owner wants to touch him now after all he has done, his own father's statements, and his agent quitting on him. Even Jerry Jones thinks that is a bad idea.

He just needs to lay low and fix his life up. Forget the NFL, save your own life dude.

Considering Ray Rice wasn't banned (I'll explain the difference in a minute), no.

Ray Rice isn't banned per se; it's just that the teams haven't wanted to deal with the potential ramifications involved in signing him. There are no restrictions on Rice's ability to sign with any NFL team.

That being said, his baggage makes him essentially unsignable.

And it would be one thing if he was one of the best at his position. He hasn't shown much above being a low-grade starter or backup.

NFL won't ban him, but this is true right now.

Dan Patrick said on his show that some good news would be coming out later on this week for Manziel. Who knows what that means...

Not to nit pick but what D.Patrick said was there would be news coming out this week and it "could" be good news but "nothing definite yet".

Goodell will not ban him, but the owners will get the message that Manziel will not earn them any goodwill from the league. Manziel will simply not be offered a job in the same fashion that Lael Collins was not drafted until he was cleared.
