Stanford? UCLA? Notre Dame? Oklahoma state?

Not a chance in hell Tennessee makes it.

BYU as a long shot. They could make it if they go undefeated.

I think ND should be on the list. They are pretty good this year likely

That schedule though...

They'll be lucky to win more than 6.

Maybe? They're breaking in a new QB and have a tough first 6 games (Kansas State, USC, @ UCLA, @ Washington, Washington State, @ ND).

Notre Dame?

Probably the best bet.

New coaching staff and tough schedule. Get real. They aren't making it.

It's brutal, that's why they deserve a playoff spot if the run the table IMO

They've got a lot of pre-season hype. What makes them so better than the 7-6 (4-5 Pac 12) team from last year?

Stanford definitely has to be on that list as they are apparently the overwhelming favorite in the Pac-12.

They were selected in the media poll to win the Pac-12.

1. Stanford (20 votes)
2. USC (5 votes)
3. Washington (4 votes)
4. UCLA (3 votes)

And I would add TCU and Michigan State as wildcards as always. They are either #2 or #3 picked preseason in their respective conferences.

I'll bet you $1000. You get those teams, I get the field.

Brutal? Tap the breaks. They close the season with Southern Utah, UMASS, and Utah State.

Typically there are only 3-4 teams from each conference that could realistically make it in a given year. This year I think the following all have a legit shot

SEC: Bama, Tenn, LSU, Georgia, Aggy
ACC: FSU, Clemson
B1G: MSU, OSU, Michigan, ?????
PAC: Stanford, Oregon, Washington
Big 12: Oklahoma, TCU

they play Arizona, Utah, UCLA, WVU, Michigan State, Mississippi State, and Boise State. They have the strength of schedule.
