why the hate for miami sports fans?

i havent really posted on here during the finals but i have been reading some of the threads and it seems to me a lot of people have been saying they hate miami fans. why? are you talking about all miami sports fans or just the heat?
give us a break the city is so pumped for the heat i mean the dolphins have sucked since marino and the marlins have been mediocre. and lets not start with the panthers

Heat fans in particular are seen as bandwagoners, and they are not exactly the most boisterous of fanbases in the league.

Sports fans (especially those on a sports message board, who are obviously beyond just a casual fan/viewer) generally don't like bandwagoners. It pretty much comes down to that.

ahh maybe it is jealously haha.
i know im not making excuses for why we cant sell out fins game which pisses me off. last years monday night game wasnt even filled but why does that make everyone so mad. i guess thats just how the city is

my brother is a dolphins season ticket holder and I went to all the home games when I lived in south florida before moving back here to Louisiana, miami fans suck for the most part, I experienced it for many years

it seems to me many dolphins fans are passionate but dont want to spend the money to go to games to support bad ownership and front office personnel but yes overall the fan base is lousy recently. i wish it would pick up like the back in the days of the orange bowl

Fan bases like the bills,skins,browns have delt with shite like this for years and still pack their stadium.

Having spent a lot of time around your fans, I can say without hesitation that there isn't a bigger group of uninformed, front-running, clueless douchebags than Heat fans in South Florida.
Counting them as "sports" fans isn't really fair, either. They have no grasp on the basics of basketball.
