Why is Miami playing AT Appalachian State this week?

I found it very strange that a Top 25 power 5 team is playing at a Sun Belt conference team.

Miami's home "fanbase" is practically non-existent. It is not like they are going to miss out on much revenue.

Also, Miami has done this in the past. They sign 2 or 3 for 1 home/away series with lower teams. They did this with Louisiana Tech when they were the best team in the nation in the early 00's.

Good add for the Sunbelt too. Beautiful place and strong football program. They really made the jump to FBS football seamlessly.

Still wish they would have beaten Tennessee, That would have been 10X more awesome than when they beat Michigan

Line is Miami -4.5. Appalachian winning isn't crazy. I doubt they get shredded.
