I'd also add that if Notre Dame dropped all of their big games and played that schedule as an independent, the committee wouldn't let them in the playoffs.

I would riot if they made it. They literally play 0 power conference teams. If they want to make it all of their occ games should be major programs

I think they are pretty good, but their schedule is real bad. I can't believe not a single Power 5 team.

Normally I'm down with seeing a mid major get a chance at BCS/playoff, but that schedule is just so damn bad. It would take absolute mayhem for them to even get close.

I kind of hold Boise as the mid-major standard. They would at least be scheduling Oregon and VaTech and Georgia. And even then people would hold their schedule against them.
