Why doesn't ESPN force OSU/Mich to play in primetime?

Whip is this the only game that never has to move ever for television? No way they don't want this in front of a primetime audience.

For literally every other team in America, you have to play when ESPN and CBS tell you when you play.

No way ESPN wants this game at 11 while they have to settle for FSU/Florida in primetime. What makes them so special?

The president of ESPN had a threeway with Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh

Maybe because of questionable weather?

When did W Michigan play yesterday?

It's at 11 every year. I think the only year it wasn't was 2006 when they were 1&2. They played at 2:30 that year.

Fans used to jump in a freezing lake before the game. I don't think temp would damper the atmosphere at all

I was joking.

I'd love for them to play at night - I love watching cold weather games.

Can't blame cold on this. They'll be playing high school football games in the same stadium three nights in a row next week. It really is more about the tradition of it. Plus I think ESPN probably likes spreading out the big games on rivalry Saturday.

That's not true, it would have been televised.

I think it was 2:30 eastern if I recall correctly. Not positive though.
