Here's the matchups from last Monday to next Monday

Knicks/Pacers
Thunder/Mavs
Jazz/Lakers
Pistons/Celtics
Grizzlies/Suns

What the hell is that? It starts getting better the following week, but five games on the channel without a matchup of current playoff teams.

There are like 3 good teams in the league. Most matchups are going to be meh

Super teams have ruined the NBA regular season. And the first 2 rounds of the playoffs.

I hear ya, but Inside the NBA is definitely worth it. That 1 hour pregame show tonight was money. Even KG and Sheeeeeeeeed was on point

Me and my friends were saying that the best games of the season so far have not be nationally televised games. That's probably due to LA and NY being on so many times

I guess so. Knicks/Pacers probably looked like a good matchup before the season. I think it might have to do with a lot of teams falling short of expectations too.

Super Teams have killed it. If a matchup doesn't involve the Cavs, Warriors, Spurs, Rockets, Thunder, or healthy Clippers...it's sort of meh.

In no other league can you pick the playoffs before the season with such accuracy.

In the NFL alone...

Your two NFC favorites in Carolina and Arizona missed the playoffs, and instead we saw the top two seeds go to Dallas and Atlanta. You also had teams like Detroit, Miami, and Oakland get in.

In the MLB...

Cleveland wasn't exactly the preseason favorite to win the AL. Everyone was high on Houston, who missed the postseason. The favorite was a team who had a title drought dating back to 1908.

In the NBA...

We don't enjoy that fun. There's easily 20 teams where fans can look forward to a trip to the playoffs at BEST...where being a low seed is an accomplishment.

It's just like TNT's Barkley has been saying for a while. The NBA has a 3-5 teams worth watching and the rest is garbage.

I guess we have different definitions of fun. This NFL season absolutely sucked and it would have been much better if teams like Carolina and Arizona were actually good.

I may be off the mark here, but I believe there are far fewer west coast teams. Therefore, they are more likely to get picked up for the second game of a back-to-back. That and the fact that LA has 6 million people.

Cavs and Warriors have already played their 2 scheduled games. Big mistake by the whomever does the scheduling. One of the games should have been played during the latter part of the season.

At this point in the season you would get a more interesting game if you were to fire up NBA 2k and watch a CPU vs CPU matchup with fantasy draft on.

I'm not saying it isn't fun. But if you are a diehard fan of Memphis, Sacramento, New York, Brooklyn, Orlando, Detroit, Denver, Indiana, Philly, Phoenix, Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans, or the Lakers, what do you get out of this season? You had no shot going into the season, probably no shot for the next few years, and your high moment will be upsetting someone in an otherwise forgettable season. Maybe you get to the first round before getting killed.

At least in baseball and in football, your team could theoretically have a cinderella season and make a run. That doesn't happen in the NBA.
