interesting. any reason for the silver hate?

my favorite is silver, only because i don't know much about the new MLB commish, and i'm neutral toward gary.

Bettman allowed someone with no money to buy an NHL team. That has to be one of the worst marks ever on a commissioner's report card.

Least favorite: Goodell

I dont have a favorite. Stern used to be it. I still dont know how I feel about Silver. He seems to be the least hated out of Goodell, Selig and himself (I have no idea how fans feel toward Bettman). So I suppose he'd be my pick.

ETA: I forgot about Selig retiring. But I still have no idea how people feel about the new one

He's probably racist and is not happy that Silver banned Sterling for life.

Might as well just ask who the favorite is since you are on a board full of Saints fans.

Adam Silver is the best commissioner by a country mile.

Bettman is probably the worst, but I could care less about hockey and I'm a Saints fan so Goodell gets the title.

If I was an NFL owner, I would take Adam Silver out to dinner and ask him who should run the league.

Least favorite: Goofdell

Favorite: Can't really say because the NBA and MLB commissioners are new and don't have a body of work to evaluate yet. But I can still assume they'll be better than Goofdell.

Silver is the best by a mile even if he runs my least favorite of the four sports.

The NBA knows how to make national stars. MLB has no clue how to do that (and has enough trouble just getting national audiences to watch games).

NBA is leading the pack on marketing and Stern/Silver were huge in that. NFL is a monster but that has little to do with Goodell. NHL and MLB seem to be spinning wheels being strong, but extremely regional/local sports.

What national audience is watching a random Tuesday night Senators/Lightning or Athletics/Indians game? Compare that with the other two sports.
