Yankees spend 200+ million on pitching and they're still behind the Rays in that department

Yankees pitching > Rays pitching, seriously.

No, not seriously

Not top to bottom. Not even close, really. I think the Red Sox might have the best rotation in the majors, though. If Penny and Smoltz can come back healthy, that will be a sick back end to that rotation. Those 2 signings kind of went under the radar, and might put the Sox back on top in the East. But their offense might struggle.

Yes, seriously.
CC Sabathia
Wang
Burnett
Joba
Hughes/fill in the blank
is one really good rotation.

Throw the emergence of David Price into this equation and then lets talk about best rotation in baseball:
Kazmir
Shields
Garza
Price (will be an Ace midway through the season)
Sonnanstine
I'd put that against the Sox all day because Smoltz won't start the season, I don't think, and Beckett isn't as good 2 maybe 3 of the Rays' starters
