I know it's early...and I'm biased...but the Nats look poised to have a bounceback season after disappointing and not making the playoffs last year despite a strong finish.

And the Braves...well are the Braves. Defending division champs, and despite injuries to the rotation you know that they're going to be there.

I think clearly the race in the East is between Washington and Atlanta.

So MSB who ya got..Nats or Braves?

I am a Nats fan and have been encouraged by the way the team has come from behind several times in the Mets and Marlins series. Tonight's win over the Marlins was particularly heartening.

But to win the division, we need to show that we can beat the Braves. They came into DC and took 2 of 3, including the games started by Strasburg and JZimm. Until we start to beat Atlanta more than they beat us, you have to say the Braves have the upper hand.

Very distasteful admission there.

I'm always the pessimist, so my gut says Braves.

It will come down to their head to head matchups.

Braves have taken 19 of the last 25, so I'll give the edge to the Braves. It'll go into the final week though.

This, but in concurrence as a Braves fan.

Which makes me feel very confident. We've owned them as of late.

The Braves have the better team once they get Minor back. Not sure what's so hard to understand about that for some people. Strasberg only carries so much name value . He's not good.

His numbers are excellent. Idiot.

I think the Braves injuries to Medlen and Beachy will be too much to overcome, and I really like Alex Wood. Minor, Beachy, Teheran, Medlen, Wood would have been filthy.

I think the braves as long as there's no more serious injuries to the rotation. It will be close though, wouldn't be surprised if we have to play in that dang wild card game

Are Phills just going to blow up the team and try to get rid of some outrageous contracts in 2014?

I still think the Braves rotation is very good.

Teheran
Wood
Santana
Minor
Floyd/Hale/Harang

They have been lights out so far, even Hale and Harang. If Minor is healthy I really like it.

I cannot trust Santana. He was reliable last year.

Yeah, it should still be pretty solid, but Santana and their five versus Beachy and Medlen could be the difference between a division title and a Wild Card berth.
