Seeing the statistic about how often Jason Day has finished 1 shot back in majors made me ponder this question. It seems like there's usually the same five or six names on the leader board in the final round yet they just can't get it done for whatever reason.

Will it be Jason Day? Henrik Stenson? Dustin Johnson? Sergio? Snedeker? Rickie Fowler?

This is who I'd put my money on.

Rickie came close last year but hasn't done much this year.

I'd say Day or Rickie, though DJ could do it at Whistling Straits

I doubt he ever wins one either but he's on the list since he tend to be in the thick of things more often than not. I fricking despise him though

I want it to be Day followed by Stenson. I think it will be DJ.

Rickie, and I would put a fair amount of money on it.

Jason Day and Dustin Johnson are good picks.

I can see a guy like Jimmy Walker sneaking up and winning the PGA Championship for his first major.

I would love to see Snedeker win one, but he would have to put together an outstanding 4 days IMO.

Jimmy walker hasn't done shut outside of the silly season

Stenson can't putt, no matter what the stats say

Stating to think that Day and Johnson's PTSD may get the best of them.

I think Fowler breaks through first.
And Sergio will win an Open at some point

Winning the Players is a pretty successful season imo.

Hopefully Sergio will be the next to break through. He is the most deserving, imo.

Westwood is another deserving one, but I think his window may have closed.
