Brice Johnson
Buddy Hield
Ben Simmons
I'm going:
Hield, Johnson then Simmons.

Brice Johnson, Simmons, Hield

I'm impressed with Hield's mental makeup. Dude isn't content with just winning, he wants to dominate. The game he had vs. Simmons was telling in that way.
I think Simmons will ultimately be the best of the 3 as he has the physical attributes, but I like Hield a lot.

Simmons, Johnson, Hield. Hield may have the longest career of the three just because shooters tend to stick around awhile

(2) Simmons
(3) Johnson
(2) Simmons

That's what I see in Hield. A guy who won't quit and thus transcend his physical attributes. Lot's of guys have come into the league with freak DNA and have had middling careers because they weren't mentally tough.

So I'm just checking, most people in this thread would take Hield #1 in the draft over Simmons? The basketball knowledge in this thread is amazing.

I like Hield's game and mental makeup a lot. I have been impressed with him much the same way I was impressed by Trey Burke at Mich. He's bigger and can shoot better than Burke so I would predict slightly better NBA numbers than Burke. Burke is currently averaging 11/2/2.

Yeah that's a bit out there, but don't sleep on Hield. I know the NBA game is much different, but Hield has a fire, and a shot, that Simmons can't come near.

Johnson is a monster, then again, he is surrounded by better talent the other two.

Lighten up, Francis.

The "he doesn't have a shot" argument is so lame. Look at Anthony Davis and that's proof enough that you can learn a shot.
