Hopefully not the Cubs unless they get him cheap. Cubs are looking at pitching when they need offense. The only pitching they might need is one more bullpen guy.

The Cubs offense was going to suck this year. It was Rizzo and a bunch of rookies. You just have to be patient with the offense even if it takes until 2016 or 2017. You have potential stalwarts in Bryant, Schwarber, and Soler. They will get better. Russell is so young. Hopefully, Castro will figure something out and maybe Baez will click. If Schwarber sticks at catcher and Bryant in left, then a LF and CF may be the only two places to buy longterm.

I'm skeptical on Hamels, but I think Price will be an Astro sooner or later. Dude loves the Astros. His dog is named Astro.

The Astros have to be up there in greatest turnaround in MLB history with the way this season is going..... A KC vs. Houston WS would be AWESOME...................

Ummmmm. Do you realize the problem here PJ?

But to answer the OP's question, I can see him being in a Dodger or Cubs uniform.

A Pittsburgh vs. Houston WS is what I meant... A ALCS with Houston and KC would be sweet...........

I'd prefer a Houston-Montreal World Series. Bring it, Marquis Grissom!

That sounds like a Red Sox move, trade for a guy who gets his arse kicked in the AL.

I mostly agree with all of that, and it's all the more reason why another starter would be a luxury, not a need.

Arrieta
Hamels
Lester
Hammel
Hendricks

An Astros-Cubs WS would be great for this board. Even better would be if it happens a few times. Possible!

Revisionist history.

Cubs were expected to be the best hitting team lead by future seven time mvp Kris Bryant.

Don't believe me, ask any cubs fan
