I would not say the Bulls or the Spurs due to one thing, they are expansion teams. I think it would be the Pistons, Warriors, or the Knicks. If we are taking in the entirety.
I would most likely out of those three say the Knicks. They have championships, they are in a major media market, have clout in the way the league is run. The Dolan regime has just made them a laughing stock at times, but they were the model franchise of the East.

So what? Longevity is important but at some point your franchise has to bear fruit. Other teams have done that more consistently and impressively than Pistons, Warriors and Knicks. Championships weigh far more heavily than simply having winning seasons. Not saying they don't have impressive histories but when we're talking top 3 all time, we have to split hairs a bit.
I feel you're going out of your way to appear impartial. It's ok to say the Spurs. They have a very convincing case.

Bulls didn't even have a well run franchise at the time they were winning titles. Reinsdorf and Krause were jokes throughout those years. To give the nod to Chicago is basically just giving the nod to Jordan, Jackson, and Pippen.
Wait what? Who traded Olden Polynice for Pippen , brought in Phil Jackson ,etc.....
MJ fans complained he had ' no help' when he was losing in the 80' s, but give no credit to the team the organization built around him.
Historically I will go with Philly? Damn tough question.
Just goes to show you the drop from 2 to 3.
