Care to wager any actual $$$ on that?

Warriors sweep you owe me $200
Warriors in 5 you owe me $100
Warriors 6-7 you owe me $50

Cavs any number of game I pay you $100

Is this fair? Feels like stealing. Cleveland doesn't defend and only has two players that can score. I'm not scared.

Healthy Curry alone wpuld have flipped the series
O you mean that Curry who averaged 29.1 points, 6.7 assists, and 6.4 rebounds in the 9 consecutive games leading up to the finals, while shooting over 40% from 3 and with an EFG of 57% and an average game score of 22.1?

Did he all of a sudden get injured in the 2 days before the Finals? Sounds like you're just making excuses for his poor performance.

Durant a beta snake? My nickname for Durant is Charlie. He's too big of a bitch to even take a chance at being a beta. I've never witnessed such a p&ssy move by a "superstar".

Nah, try something like this -

Warriors sweep, you get $100
Warriors in 5, you get $50
Warriors in 6/7, push
Cavs win series, he gets $100

Warriors are 5/14 favorites compared to 2/1 for the Cavs.

THank Lebron. He made it ok for the current day NBA star to form a super team. Once he took all the heat no one was gonna get it as bad as him.

This is a laughable proposal since the Warriors are favored in the first place, that is why handicapping is factor into betting.

You guys have a funny narrative that Iguodala and Draymond are going to stop Lebron. I don't even understand this talk. Two years ago Lebron was praised for his play with a bunch of scrubs and last year he was incredible.

The Warriors are better on paper but they aren't deeper, at least I don't think. Guys like West, Zaza, and even McGee will have very little place in this series. Who will West guard in that Lebron/4 shooters lineup?

My opinion is the Warriors aren't playing near as well as people think. They did not play well against Portland or Utah despite the result. And in the 1 game with kawhi on the floor, they were terrible. The other 3 games against the Spurs were preseason games. I would argue that not one player from the Spurs in games 2-4 would start for the Cavs. Outside of maybe Aldridge, I don't even know if they would be in the rotation.

I'm down with the above.

I'm not going to bet even money on an "underdog" when I can get a better payout from Vegas.

ETA:

I can get on board for the below as well

quote:

Warriors sweep, you get $100
Warriors in 5, you get $50
Warriors in 6/7, push
Cavs win series, he gets $100

Are you saying the Warriors don't have the personnel to defend 5-out?

Damn Cavs fans are confident in one post, then want odds when the money gets put on the table.

Not saying they can't defend the Cavs. I am saying the depth people keep pointing too is weak in my mind. I think Zaza gets reduced to no time this series. West as well. In fact I only see Livingston and Iggy as guys that get any kind of serious run. People can suggest Clark and McCaw but I don't see how those guys handle this stage.

Eh, Zaza and West will get their minutes when Tristan is on the floor so they'll probably get their usual run quite honestly.

I agree about Clark. He'll probably get 3-5 minutes. I disagree about McCaw. I think the matchups aren't too bad for him. He'll probably be similar to Jaylen Brown for the Celts against Cleveland -- trouble when he switches off on LeBron, but a plus defender when he's guarding a different wing. And GS is better with their switches and length on helpside to hide and cover for McCaw than the Celts are with Brown.

I want to see Cleveland win but there is no excuse for GS not winning.

If they let one player beat them again, they need to dismantle the program.

They're no match for Tristan. West is a shell

If the GSW plan to use Zaza and West to combat Thompson that's a huge win for the Cavs. The Warriors will go small for the majority of the time just like they have the last two years regardless of Thompson. They benched Bogut numerous times the last two years against the Cavs because he had no place. Zaza is not close to Bogut.

What kind of BS betting structure is this?

You're backing the favorites, you should incur the risk since you know they can back it up.

I mean, he is the one who claimed the Warriors in 5, then offered alternate betting options. I simply countered with my own options based on the betting market.

I'm down to bet straight up even money that the Warriors will not sweep or win in 5 (which was his original statement).

But it makes no sense for me to bet even money on a straight up win/lose situation when I can get much better payout betting elsewhere.

Bogut-Speights-Ezili-Varejao combined for 32.2 MPG in last year's finals. Zaza-West-Javale will get their run this year. Especially West from the high post with the second unit.
