Which was the worse loss: Manning vs. Seahawks (SB) or Miles vs. Bama (1/9)?

Which was the uglier loss that affected those people's legacy who had the most riding on the game - namely, Manning and Miles?

What a horrible end to otherwise amazing season for both these guys.

I've been told tonight did not negatively affect Peyton Manning's legacy.

So, Miles by default.

Though, in reality, this one loss hurts more than a thousand 1/9s ever could.

This loss was much more of a beat down it seems.

I think this one was far worse...the best offense of all time statistically speaking looked like a JV team. This was the worst super bowl beating in like 25 years

it was only 21-0

the broncos were horrific right out the gate and got whipped far worse.. even with MR.MVP

LSU had JJ..

The Broncos' loss tonight is far worse and more embarrassing than the 1/9 LSU NC loss, imo. LSU definitely got embarrassed, but the Seahawks put on a clinic. LSU had JJ for a QB whereas the Broncos have one of the greatest QBs to have ever lived.

Our defense kept the game respectable until mid 4th quarter. 21-0 looks like a three touchdown beatdown, when it was really a field goal clinic by Bama and a nail-in-the-coffin TD run against a worn out defense. LSU's offense had question marks coming into game, especially after the Arkansas and Georgia games, and they were stuffed by an all-time great defense.

Denver's prolific offense led by a record-breaking QB got taken to the woodshed. The game never felt like it was close. Plus, Super Bowl > National Championship.

Miles. In context that loss is the worst of any game I have ever seen.

Funny question.

Smart people...who watched the NFC champ game..and the NFC all year...felt the best teams in the league by far were the Hawks, Niners and Saints.

AFC was weak and Denver had a poor schedule.

LSU vs. Bama...public actually did believe those teams were somewhat even. And they looked it.

Seattle and the Niners in the NFC champ game look far more physical - like a different brand of football compared to Denver.

But I'm less surprised by the LSU loss. Human nature and having to beat a team twice. LSU having to repeat - to win the title - was unfair and wrong. They laid an egg...having to prove what they already proved once...

How bama revels in that supposed title is beyond me.

Denver was far worse. It's the SB - not a made up popularity contest. Late season victory in Tuscaloosa wasn't a preseason game...like Manning had against the Hawks. No real double-jeopardy.

No one seems to want to talk about this.

At least the two best teams in football were in the NFC. And probably the top three.

Miles. You can't blame this loss on Manning. Seattle owned Denver in that game.

easily.

I firmly believed and proclaimed before the SB - the NFC Champ game was the real Super Bowl.

Niners, Hawks, Saints.

Were the 3 best teams when healthy. Despite the Saints choke job @ the Pats.

But the NFC West was heads and shoulders above the AFC West...Chiefs racing out to that big lead fooled everyone into thinking a great division.

Chiefs were a pretender and still gave Denver a hard time...hell, crummy Dallas gave Denver a hard time.

NFC West was like Bama/LSU the last couple of years.

Denver had a lot of Ducks in them.
