Michigan State isn't going to kick Ohio State's butt.

But I would like to see the Big Ten left out.

The problem for me is i don't want anyone screwed, and there are going to be at least 2-3 teams who are.

I guess the team I want "screwed" under this scenario is whoever the 2nd team from the SEC West is. I would rather have 4 conference winners in, because I think it is hard to determine who would win games based on an eye test. The SEC champ will have won their way in, much like the conference champs elsewhere.

Would be the greatest thing ever if every other power conference had teams with 2-3 losses but the SEC had multiple 1 loss teams.

What if every conference has a 2-loss champion besides the SEC, and Auburn, State, and Alabama all go 11-1?

So that makes it fair? How about the 4 best teams with the best resume' play?

I really don't want two teams from the same conference, unless they did not play each other this season. If you lost to a team in the playoff, they are better than you and you don't deserve s second chance.

not possible since they all still have to play each other.

And thats how they'll rationalize keeping a 2nd sec team out. SECW beats each other up, everybody ends up with a couple of losses. Then UGA wins the SECCG. they'll find some 1 loss team with a weak schedule to jump in.

I believe the playoff panel is a way to try keep the SEC from winning championships every year.

shite.

I forget Ole Miss losing to LSU ends this scenario.

It could have been Alabama, Ole Miss, and State.

Or State, Ole Miss, and Auburn.

Not anymore, though.

Obviously fans of teams of lesser conferences would like to judge these things by but a fraction of a team's season. Using selective data can help spin an argument well.
