Lol last summer before the protest the 49ers tried to trade him and had exactly 0 takers. Nobody wanted him before his protest he's a below avg system QB in a system nobody runs anymore. I do like those misleading and bogus stats you listed so I'll give you a few you didn't.
1 career season of 20 Tds
Never even threw for 3,400 yards in a season
Below .500 career record including 3-16 the last 2 seasons
Only has 2 career seasons completing over 60% of his passes that's pitiful for a college QB much less an NFL QB
Bottom line is he was a below avg losing QB back when teams actually ran zone read offenses and he's a basement level thrower of the football. If he could play a lick he'd be in the NFL.

You know he wants to sign for a lot of money. More money than anyone wants to pay him.

In a world where media picks up on everything, THIS is the one thing they just can't get info on? Why?

I def think teams are staying away from Kap due to his off-field persona
I def dont think the owners got together over smores in their treehouse and decided to all do this together

yes, he's far more talented than most back ups

All it's gonna take is one judge who wants to be in on one of the biggest sports rulings ever and this shite is gonna blow up
Not too many judges are interested in setting the record for the fastest overturn on appeal in judicial history.

I do think Kaep would have gotten another job opportunity if it weren't for the kneeling and assorted comments from both him and his girlfriend (mostly the Castro and the Ravens stuff). But those comments were made and my impression is proving collusion is extremely difficult.
Have there been major cases in which collusion was suspected by a major industry with a large number of owners and a judgment ended up in the favor of the person bringing the case? It seems like a very high hurdle when you're dealing with an industry with dozens of owners.
For example, IMO Curt Flood's case was a ton easier in baseball but he was blackballed for challenging MLBs free agency/trade rules and didn't have the handicap of talking up dictators or throwing around pejoratives about the management potentially interested in hiring him. He even claimed to be directly told by baseball executives that by challenging MLB in court he was ending his career.

MLB colluded in the mid-80s to hold salaries down. Players had proof in the form of suspiciously similar contract offers. Owners paid a ton in damages, and the 1993 expansion was done in part to recoup that.

Good call. Presumably they had dozens of player examples with suspiciously similar offers? That would be convincing.

Just found out collusion claim only means that two owners or more got together and agreed not to sign him.
So, what if Dolphins GM and Jags GM got together on their Kaep stance? Or any two teams. Would be nuts.
FWIW, I’d never sign Kaep. Average QB who hasn’t played a down in ages.

If I’m Kap’s attorney, I’d request billable hours for this bc proving collusion among any of the 32 teams or the league office and one/some of the 32 teams appears an almost prohibitively difficult endeavor to pursue or gain discovery. I’ll likely need to apprise myself of how much discovery is allowed for these arbitration proceedings per the CBA but I speculate/imagine it isn’t as much as one would secure in a court of law lawsuit and apparently the burden of proof is pretty damn high with the civil law evidential burden applied(preponderance of the evidence). His lawyer will likely do a great job in representing him but I don’t think he’ll be able to win this it’s almost like a defamation lawsuit almost impossible to win.

I don't get where the "should" comes in. Playing in the NFL is not a fundamental human right.

Mark Geragos is taking this case, for the same reason he takes on all his cases...the publicity.

Yeah, but they were apparently the same before anyone had a reason to consider blacklisting him.
At some level NFL teams are allowed to be concerned about their attendance as well. Although it is surprising people have cared as much as they do, it does seem to be the case that a decent percentage of those who have reduced their NFL viewing habits have done so because they don't like the kneeling protests.
It would be nice if we didn't live in such a politicized environment - an environment in which people become enraged by the politics of others and withdraw support. But that's the world we live in right now, and it is a bilateral problem.
