Where does Sean Payton end up coaching next season?

Also Bill Simmons makes a good point about him being an overrated coach. If they don't win that onside kick he loses the SB and is fired 2-3 years ago. How many coaches have done less after winning a Super Bowl?

George Seifert?
Brian Billick?
John Gruden?

Bounty gate in 2012 killed a lot of momentum, but 2011 was arguably the best team in Saints history, and they were a play away from playing in a 3rd NFCCG under Sean Payton. 2013 was successful as well. Hard to call it disappointing

After they went 11-5 or 13-3?
He's 84-55 as a head coach and would still have two NFC championship game appearances. Simmons goes full tard from time to time
And I don't think they would have fired him after bounty gate even if they had somehow lost to the Colts

and i think unless the Saints can agree to a trade for Payton, to a team that he wouldnt mind going to, then he'll be the Saints coach next year. A lot of moving parts to make that happen. A team must agree to pay the rest of his salary, or ink him to a newer, longer term deal.
He's under contract for 2 more years, at $8mil per year. You dont fire him and eat that much money. And in the same breath, if your SP, you dont walk away from that (evidently their is a clause in his contract that allows him to potentially walk if there is any ownership issues)

Before Sean Payton's suspension in 2012
Since he became a head coach in 2006 with the Saints, NO OTHER COACH IN ALL OF THE ENTIRE NFL had more wins than he did.
None. Not even BB.
That whole Bounty gate BS really did ruin the Saints, the suspensions and time off.. the Saints never truly recovered.. although he did have them win a playoff game since..
So yeah from 2006-2012 Sean Payton had more wins than any other coach in the NFL.. and that is building up the SAINTS franchise.. Think about that..
But he's over-rated? Get the frick out

Should the Packers have fired Mike McCarthy for doing so little after winning one measly Super Bowl?
Sean Payton Coached Seasons after SB win
11-5 - Lost in wildcard round
13-3 - Lost in divisional round
11-5 - Lost in divisional round
11-5 - Lost in divisional round
Mike McCarthy Coached Seasons after SB win
15-1 - Lost in divisional round
11-5 - Lost in divisional round
8-7-1 - Lost in wildcard round
12-4 - Lost in conference title game
I know the Saints were not good last year and have been awful this year, but to claim he has done little after winning the SB is ridiculous. Most Saints fans would still want him even if the Colts beat the Saints in the SB.
After finishing this post, I realized that I should've compared him to Marvin Lewis, who hasn't even won a SB yet has been in Cincy forever.

The first answer I thought of to OPs question was Brian Billick

Things aren't going well right now, but you give SP the benefit of the doubt to turn the ship around.

He's made the playoffs 3 more times and won 2 more playoff games.
What a retarded question.

Billick was a fraud anyway. Offensive-minded coach who went a whole month without scoring a TD with Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes.
