Welcome to Bama's world, Ohio State. You have every team on your schedule circling your name on the calendar and treating your game like it's the national championship. Bama's had to deal with this for the last five years. Now it's Ohio State's turn.

I'd agree with that. Then 3/4 would be a toss up of UCLA and LSU.

I think (?) his point is that a close win over 4-1 Indiana is looked at negatively, while a close win over say Arkansas is heralded as a tough fought battle
Was it? Was Alabama even in the top 4 discussion after that game?

Nothing. It has a lot to do with the original post that I replied to. Jesus.

No, they don't

They've played absolutely like shite, and are undefeated.
You know what's better? Playing well and being undefeated, against good teams.

If they lose they'll drop significantly and should. Until then, watch some football and suck it up.
Why should they be #1 when other teams look better and have a better resume? And if you keep winning, you'll be in the playoffs anyway so it doesn't matter. There's just no reason for OSU to be #1 right now, except "last year"

I think this gets overlooked. They're the best team on every opponent's schedule by far, and will get challenged often. That's what's different from them and Florida State last season.

Alabama got a mighty impressive win today... sure they lost the home game to Ole Miss but they have two mighty impressive neutral site and road wins...

That Wisconsin win won't look that impressive at season's end. There's a decent chance they end up a 4 loss team.
