Would like to put them 1 but most likely they will be 2. Their regular season record is boosted by the West being the weakest it's been in years and years and OKC taking them to 7 games dings them too. If Curry hadn't gotten hurt it's very very likely that they don't even play a game 6 in the playoffs and in that case they would be #1 for me.

They deserve to be mentioned as a top 5 team, their record is simply incredible. However, there's several other championship teams that I believe would beat them.

85-86 Celtics are up there. Won 67, incredibly stacked roster (Bill Walton was the 6th man ffs), only lost 3 in the playoffs

Teams are assembled to maximize success with rules that are current when the team is assembled. The Warriors are the best team assembled for today's rules. It would be difficult for any team assembled for different rules to beat them playing a series using today's rules. By the same token, it would be difficult for this Warriors team to beat some of the great teams of the past if they played series using the rules from the past.

I think in terms of accomplishments they're 2nd right behind the Bulls. However I would rank them #3 or 4 in a best team list
