Where are they now? Preseason rankings

According to SI:
1 Bama...3
2 Stanford...7
3 T A&M...21
4 tOSU...6
5 Oregon...12
6 S. Carolina...8
7 Louisville...16
8 Notre Dame...???
9 Florida...???
10 Clemson...11
Florida State and Auburn...not in preseason top 10. Only s. Carolina and Clemson are close to the preseason ranking. I'd include Bama but since they were anointed as champs before the season, falling 2 spots stings a lot for them.

Not really. How many teams actually go wire to wire as #1? Not many. We came really damn close to it.
