A d-league NBA team would be kinda cool. Fan support would be the issue with the Pelicans right down the road

Well what if it were the Pels' DLeague team?

Pels are one of the only teams in the NBA without their own D-League team, right?

Allen has a D League team for the Mavs. They get plenty of fan support even just being 30-45 minutes away.

If BR brought the Kingfish back, would they get better attendance than they did 10-15 years ago?

I find it hard to imagine that people would rather watch d- League basketball over LSU basketball in BR.

Well, people have already proven they don't want to watch LSU basketball.

Bring back the kingfish. I was only a young child when we had them but I'd be there all the time as an adult now

Absolutely. There's more people downtown than 10 years ago, hockey is more popular than it was 10 years ago, and BR culture has changed tremendously to being more "going out" focused. As long as the game tickets are reasonable and cheap beer is sold, it could work.
