When Lebron said "Not 1, Not 2", etc, did he actually mean total finals losses?

I don't understand why people penalize Lebron for losing in the Finals instead of the 1st round.

Is your IQ capable of coming up with anything remotely creative?

Because he doesn't lose in the first round. That wouldn't make any sense

Because you don't lose them when you get there.

The Bills made it 4 times in a row and lost every time.

So embarrassing... Just embarrassing.

That is why the Jordan fans always throw his undefeated Finals streak at everyone. When he got there he was GOAT against Hall of Fame talent and rose to the occasion.

But, Jordan never, ever, ever played a team like Golden State during his tenure and that Bulls team would have been competitive but I don't see them beating this Golden State squad from this year or that San Antonio squad a few years back in 2014.

Just my opinion though.

This is the most ignorant rebuttal of all. Magic went to 7 Jordan went to 6 Kareem went to more Russell went to more, Lebron isn't first all time or even far enough ahead of most all timers for his losses not to matter.

How? People would give Lebron less crap for losing in the first 3 rounds than they would in the Finals.

Do you disagree?

Of course I disagree that's stupid. He wouldn't be the historic player he is if he would be being bounced in the first round he'd be KD or Westbrook or worse. His finals appearances are his entire legacy right now. 3 finals wins has been done by plenty of all time players it's his appearances that puts him ahead of most.

Not just GS, as has been said on this board before, LeBron has faced 5 teams tougher than the toughest team MJ has faced. If it were reversed, it's very possible that LeBron has a better Finals record than LeBron. Which is why "count the rings" and Finals record should be viewed as team stats. And you should view individuals as individuals, and you'll still likely come up with MJ as the GOAT.
