When is the NFL MVP announced?

Just a guess, but probably February 4th between 9 and 11 pm.

the reason I want to know is, will the NFC championship have any impact on who wins it. If the Saints were to make that game and beat Green Bay, I don't see how Rodgers wins it over Brees.

Since when does Green Bay get an auto win over the Falcons or Giants? Could be a home game for Saints in NFC Champ game.
I think Brees has made that seperation the last couple of weeks to get it.

I would let Rogers win the MVP as long as the Saints find a way to beat the PACK IN GB. BUT I have a GUT feeling that the Giants win tomorrow and then win at GB. And if the Saints can pull it out in SF that means the NFC title game is AT N.O.

It's announced right before the Super Bowl I think but I'm pretty sure the votes were due in already.

Here is why Brees would earn it in my view if that happens. Had the Saints beat Green bay week 1 then both teams would have been 14 and 2 with the Saints getting the top seed. Now if they play in the Championship and Brees Saints win, then which game will have been more important? Their starts are both great, but I personally am a homer and like Brees more.
