Will he be considered one of the GOAT? A Hall of Famer? Or just another baseball player? What y'all think.

I think he definitely has potential to be a Hall of Famer.

I'm as big a Harper fan as you'll find on this board, but if he doesn't learn how to amp it down a bit, he's gonna have so much wear and tear on his body, we'll all be talking about the "what ifs and coulda beens" for him. I appreciate the hustle and energy he brings...but I want to be able to watch it for more than just a few seasons. Making a habit of crashing into walls isn't conducive to a longterm career, no matter how talented you are.

He's the next Grady Sizemore!

ESPN mentality has ruined intelligent sports discourse.

Mike Trout, if he lays off cheese burgers and beer, will have the better career.

Trout and Harper will be forever compared to one another. You'll rarely be able to say one of their names, without getting the other's in response. I think it is great baseball.

While we are at it, let's just go ahead and ask about Jadeveon Clowney...or hell, let's go high school and ask if Dashawn hand or Leonard Fournette are going to be perennial pro bowlers in the future.
