Since today's one of the only times I'll likely ever see a parole hearing broadcast across all the major news networks and it concerned Juice Simpson, I felt it appropriate to create this topic. I submit 1975 and my reasons why:
-scored the most TDs(rushing and receiving)of his career in a season
-was a receiving threat out of the backfield with 7 receiving TDs in addition to his 16 rush TDs over a 14 game season
-recorded a career high in yards from scrimmage
-still gained 1800 rushing yards with the extra receiving stats

These numbers indicate that OJ would've destroyed fantasy football that season, scoring from multiple approaches

Thoughts? Opinions?

I had OJ on my Fantasy team in 1979 and he sucked.

Cut him before the bye week.

I don't think he accepted any pay so his amateur status for that year was preserved.

Sliced his way through his competition.

Was also aided by having the best defense ever by his side.

How many fantasy football points do you get for 2 rageful murders?

Or would you get more for 1 asinine acquittal?

The defense went up against a totally inept offense that year as well.

At first I read only the thread title and not the author, so I was going to say that idiot who starts those weird threads that are basically just stats listed would be along shortly to let us know.... But here we are

1973 is what you're thinking of. The year he broke Jim Brown's record. Highest YPG but Brown had a higher YPC (6.4 vs 6.0) in his record year. Simpson carried the ball 40 more times.

Jim Brown also scored 15 total touchdowns and gained 2,100 yards from scrimmage which exceeds OJ's 1973 totals so that's essentially 150 yards and a TD PER GAME likely would've obliterated the 1963 fantasy season like OJ in 1975.
