Just got staffed by PING! Headed up to the Factory next week to pick up new gear... Thinking of getting Answer Driver and Answer Irons... Not sure yet if I'm going PING wedges or not

How are your 690's holding up?

I love them. I tried to replace them with the original AP2s when they first came out and switched right back to the 690. They are nearing the end of their useful life I'm afraid though . The grooves are starting to flatten out at the impact spot and they don't shine near as brightly as they used to, but they are trusty.

Weaver,

What can you expect to get out of your irons? If you played once a week...Dude said his 690's are about done.

Just depends...I know people who still play clubs 15 years old that like the feel and the clubs aren't dead...I guess it all depends - how you keep them up, damage, etc. I know they have a shelf life, but I don't know what it is.

If the clubs drastically lose feel, distance, or the grooves wear down, I suggest a new set

Other than that, hit em till you hate em.

that's true, forgot about practice.

Speaking of, I hit a small bucket before all the rain, and only practiced that low fade you like to hit on 14.

I started to think of all the holes in the B.R. area I can use it.

Delusions of grandeur.

I used them to play 3 years of college golf and over a year of significant playing/practicing every day. So they are a bit more used than your average set of 8 year old clubs.

Only a year and a half into my golfing life, so I'll stick with this bag until I improve.

I hit the ping ansers a few weeks ago. Little on the pricey side so for now my i15s are fine.

I20 driver
Tour w wedges
Rbz 3w, 22, 19 hybrid.

Nothing will change this year unless the ansers go down.

Outside of putter, our bags are almost the exact same. I guess you also don't feel the need to upgrade every year. 755's are the tits
