Whatever BCS haters, It worked, and will be missed

5 amazing Bowl games. Out of the all the titles only a hand few were no good. 5 amazing BCS bowls this year. The bowls and the uniqueness of CFB is dead, it will never be the same.

You realize playoffs will be even better right. What will the excuses be when a #4 team that doesn't deserve to be there wins it all? System didn't work unless it was a SEC team?

I agree. they have too many bowl games.
doesn't make it as special IMO.
the playoff system might help will help but there is still too many bowls.

Main issue I have with the playoff is that the semis are in neutral sites. I think that's jack shite stupid. Even the NFL doesn't do that to fans. If it ever expands to more than 4 teams, that just aint gonna work.

More like anyone who doesn't hate is too young. most of its biggest travesties happened in its first few years.
Texas > Cal for a BCS bowl game.
FSU > Miami for national title
Nebraska making it over a Colorado team that beat them by 26 and a far superior Oregon team.
Oklahoma > USC for national title
Auburn not getting a shot at a national title.
USC in 2008. etc

I always thoughta playoff would be created out if the final BCS rankings. Kinda sad it didn't happen.

Agreed. Playoffs will be entertaining, but a selection committee for a 4 team playoff isn't some grand improvement on the current system IMO.

I think some people forget the BCS recently put Notre Dame in the title game. In a playoff that would never have happened. I don't know who but someone could have given Bama a better game.

The selection committee will add political correctness into the title championship race. They've already started with the addition of Condeleeza Rice to the committee.
