They lose 2 or more games next year. Book it.

Kelly is the real deal. His team was ahead of schedule this season, and its clear they don't have the speed on D to compete yet. He's recruiting lights out though so its only a matter of time before he's got it at true national title type levels.

They have easiest road into the BCSNCG and in a 1 game situation, you never know.

Actually, with OU, you pretty much do know what comes in the 1 game scenario.

I saw a team tonight that didn't deserve to be in that position.. and honestly that is the same thing I've thought about ND all season long.

Will they make it back to a NCG soon? They can do it. But they have a ways to go before they can compete for 4 quarters on that level.

Why are you overreacting to 1 loss? They return 15 starters. Their schedule is waaaaay easier too. The only hiccup is they have to go to Palo Alto.

Also I forgot to mention them but Oregon State is going to be great next year as well.

Bob has won a NC Rose and Fiesta. The UF game in Miami they didn't play bad and Tebow wasn't losing in Florida.

They're probably best shot of non SEC team to win it. I think Stanford and Oregon cancel each other out. Big East/ACC won't send an unbeaten. I don't think B1G will have an unbeaten either. So that's why I pick OU.

there is no doubt they weren't there this year, but they were only in that position because Pitt is terrible, and because Kelly is such a good coach.

Turnover is fast in CFB, if he's recruiting the right players, and ND loosens up to Holtz levels on the admissions standards, they'll be the truth in 2-3 years probably.

In his defense, though I think ND under Kelly is going to be a truly great program again in short order, its not going to be because of most of the starters on that field tonight.

There were a ton of players who just weren't good enough. It had nothing to do with scheme, and everything to do with ability.

I should have specified but I don't necessarily mean next year, I just mean which program will do it. Could 4 years, next year, not the point.

I watched them all year. They never impressed me in the slightest. Tonight just further proved my judgement correct.

Good. 15 from a team that got blasted tonight. Hope they use their offseason wisely.

Easy schedule will either spoil a team or make your team pansies. SEC teams have proven this 7 years now.

What happened last time they went on the road to Michigan?

They can't beat Oregon. Oregon State will never be a national championship caliber football team. Never.

Pretty sure 9 or 10 of the starters on ND will play in the NFL. One bad game doesn't all of sudden make them bad players.

One team that "should" be able to do it but always underperforms is FSU. They have top recruiting classes every year yet always find a way to screw up.

Alabama had an easy schedule last year that turned out well for them.

Sadly Michigan is probable going to be very very average in 2013

I thought about mentioning FSU. I'd put them on the same notch as Oklahoma.

Oregon, Ohio State

Stanford, Notre Dame

Oklahoma, FSU, Texas, Michigan, USC

** Note: Texas and USC will never staff changes **
