Guy had a 5000 yard season with 48 TD back in 84 and he's probably the best pure Passer ever. I'd say a couple of 6000 + yards and 60 td seasons

He was the best pure passer I have ever seen. He would be throwing for more yards and more TD's than anyone.

Defensive coverages are more complex now. He would be a less mobile Aaron Rodgers.

He'd definitely be lighting it up today. The guy had the quickest release I ever saw and a big arm, was very accurate too.

You know how different the NFL was back then?

(and by different, I mean WAY better than the current crap-system-offense-QB-rule-protect jackoff game.)

Phil Simms was #3 in the league in passing yards in 1984.

That would have put him just above Eli Manning and just below Jameis Winston.

You know how good Marino was in 1984?

He led the league in:

Passes completed
Passing yards
Passing Tds
Passer rating
Passer approximate value
Passing yards per attempt
Passing yards game
Net pass yards
Adj pass yards

Aaron Rodgers is a better talent than Marino.
