Had BYU beating Xavier. In one bracket it doesn't matter because the play-in games don't count against me, so BYU/Ole Miss beating Xavier is a win. In the other one the play-ins count, so I needed BYU.

Have LSU beating NC State and Nove, but losing to Northern Iowa. I couldn't go full homer, just half.

This better not happen.

For me..
Whichita State over Kansas and then ND, before losing to Kentucky.
UNC over Wisconsin (will regret this one) before losing to Zona.
LSU over NC State and Nova, before losing to N. Iowa.
SFA to the sweet 16, before losing to Duke.
Dayton to sweet 16 before losing to Virginia.

Mine are still amendable (especially the latter two), but...
Wichita State defeating Indiana and Kansas to reach the Sweet Sixteen.
Davidson defeating Iowa, Gonzaga, and Iowa State to reach the Elite Eight.
Buffalo defeating WVU and Maryland to reach the Sweet Sixteen.

I like your respect for the Missouri Valley Conference. In my opinion, the Missouri Valley should be considered a basketball power conference.

I have two main brackets that are really similar with only a few differences from sweet sixteen on but some things i predict:
1) UNC-Wisconsin winner goes to Final 4 and beats Kentucky. I have Wisconsin losing to Villanova though but UNC wins it all.
2) UC Irvine beats Louisville
3) Oregon beats Oklahoma St
4) Virginia does not make sweet 16.
5) Indiana and Butler make sweet 16. Butler wins and plays Kentucky in elite 8.

Not when the rest of the conference is average. Illinois State needs to step up with the talent they have. The bottom teams need to get better too. The top is good though.

Missouri State needs to fire their coach and hit a home run with a solid new hire. Missouri State has been good to very good in the recent past. In the late 1990s, Missouri State played Duke in a competitive Sweet 16 game.
The thing about the Missouri Valley is that most teams in that conference have had their shots. Bradley went on an Elite 8 run. Southern Illinois was a very good tournament team in the early 2000s. Creighton (while in conference) was a scary tournament team. Northern Iowa is always capable of a Sweet 16 run. Missouri State has had a Sweet 16 run. Indiana State won a national championship. Wichita State went on a Final Four run and currently owns the conference right now.
The Missouri Valley may only send 2 teams (occasionally 3 or 4) to the tournament, but those teams usually make a respectable to great run.
No one wants to play a Missouri Valley team because the Missouri Valley has a history of defeating top seeds.

No, I wasn't aware that an NBA MVP candidate is no longer on Davidson.
As I said, my bracket, and more specifically the Davidson pick, is amendable and chances are I make some switches before tomorrow begins.

I have ND over UK.
Also have Stephen F. Austin over Duke.
And no #1 seeds in my final four.
They're one of my FF teams.

Gonzaga over Utah in the regional final. I get why people are picking Davidson, as it's tied up in Gonzaga skepticism. That makes sense, but this really is the best Zags team ever, and they have been good enough to make the FF before, if Morrison would have stopped crying. I like taking mid-majors as higher seeds (even though Utah is now in the Pac, people still think of them as a mid-major) because I feel people are more likely to pick upsets of a highly rated mid-major vs. a double-digit seed major conference team (SEE Texas over Xavier).
Michigan St in the Elite 8. I have no faith in OU, UVa's injury concerns bother me, and I think Sparty is equipped to handle the slow pace. Also, slow paced favorites tend to get upset because they have a smaller margin of error (less possessions). Slow pace is great for pulling upsets, but it hurts a team trying to prevent one.
Eastern Washington over Georgetown. Because... Georgetown.
