In honor of the upcoming NFL Draft, I just figured I would pose this question because I have never seen it discussed.

What is the weakest/strongest draft class for any position in NFL history? It can be any position, but preferably one where you see a ton of players from said position drafted (kickers and punters would be bad choices, IMO). I think it'd be awesome for some of the older posters to throw out some opinions knowing they have seen more than us younger posters (I'm only 23).

I guess I could throw out a weak and strong to get this ball rolling.

Strong: 1983 quarterback draft class
Weak: 2012 running back draft class

Incredible class.

I think it's a damned shame we saw Marvin Harrison's career end so abruptly.

Did it really end that abruptly?

I've always preferred riding out into the sunset a year early than limping off like a bum.

Will have to wait and see how the 2014 WR class does over the next 5-10 years. It may top that 1996 class!

the year Bo Jackson went #1 was a deep RB class

The Saints drafted 4 running backs, & I believe they all made the team.
Dalton Hillard (became the franchise all-time rusher)
Ruben Mayes (won ROY)
Gill Fenerty
Barry Word (won comeback player '90)
