Estimated new cases and deaths from prostate cancer in the United States in 2009:

New cases: 192,280
Deaths: 27,360

Estimated new cases and deaths from breast cancer in the United States in 2009:

New cases: 192,370 (female); 1,910 (male)
Deaths: 40,170 (female); 440 (male)

Considering breast cancer only effects about 90 more people per year. Yes I know it kills more, but still effects the same amount of people that can use the help.

Facts and Figures taken from the www.cancer.gov website

192,370 + 1,910 = 194,280

quote:

New cases: 192,280

194,280 - 192,280 = 2,000

Again:

2,000 =/= 90

MEGA MATH FAIL

I'm not even going to get into the disparity in deaths.

But let's look at this from a more practical perspective:

People like boobs more than they like assholes. Most normal people don't see some hot broad on the street and say, "Hey, check her a-hole out!" However, you do say, "Hey, check out the rack on that dame!"

Neither do most people of color.

Pretty much me and some of the hipster kids that I hang out with say that on occasion.

White is a color.

If you ever again use the phrase "people of color" and exclude white people, I will RA.

Holy shite. That thread just pissed me the frick off on so many levels.

OK, by "pissed me the frick off", I mean, "made me laugh, but then made me somewhat sad that someone could be so stupid"...

Well, since none of us is really "white" or "black", then maybe we should look at and describe each individual by his own particular skin tone. So some guys would be like a burnt umber, while others would be a pallid, off-white, while others would be olive/tannish. Could make things more interesting and entertaining.

Crayola could get back into the game and have like a billion different colors out there so that little kids can draw accurate pictures of everyone.
