What can they do to shorten these games?

I mean this game is going to be at least 4 1/2 hrs and that's becoming a pretty common thing. What's the realistic solution?

Skip the 1st quarter. That should get it down to 3 hours.

1. Start with the play clock. Reduce it by 25%.
2. Implement a challenge flag system like the NFL.

IT's been long no doubt, but it hasn't quite hit the 4 hour mark yet.

Use NFL clock rules, NFL replay rules, and cut halftime down to about 15 minutes.

The NFL doesn't have this problem so just do everything they do.

no clock stops in the first half for incomplete passes or going out of bounds. or at least not until last two mins of 2nd quarter.

Why shorten them? The season lasts only a few months and by next month you guys are going to be jonesing for it.

Enjoy it as long as it lasts, because it's never long enough.
