What can I do with old, torn up baseballs?

The place I work for has batting cages and we have buckets and buckets of old, torn up baseballs. We always end up just throwing them away after awhile and it seems like a waste. Anybody know of any use for them? or a place we can bring them/donate them?
Is there any re-sale value for them at all?

Donate to local boys club or YMCA.

Eventually, they will get thrown away though.

I mean we are a baseball facility and we don't use them, they're pretty rough. Can't really throw them, maybe you could hit them off a tee

How torn up are we talking like busted open with string exposed or just some cuts on the surface?

I would call them first to see if that's something they'd be interested in. Otherwise, you may just be giving them something they'll throw away.

I imagine these balls are just about useless to practice with otherwise yall would still be using them?

I'm talking about busted open covers, most have about half the cover peeling off and you can see the string. We keep them for awhile for emergency off the tee balls if we're really crowded. But eventually when you have bucket fulls of them they become useless once you get new balls

Tape em and keep using them.....everyone does that.

ETA: I own a baseball training facility and we do that. Just keep them as extra tee and soft toss balls.

Just get athletic tape and wrap the shite out of them. Use A LOT of tape and wrap it really tightly. Perfect practice balls.

Where in Dallas? Always looking for a place to hit.

We've probably hit at your place and cussed your worn out balls.

yes, we have cussed out Barry's old balls before...especially back when my boy used the machines. He thought I was brushing him back from the plate when those ripped up balls would shoot straight at his head.

(Small world, huh?)
