What Are The Chances Of The Rams, Chargers, Raiders Actually Moving To L.A.?

Anyone follow this story as it unfolds?
My understanding is that earth is being moved and foundation is being driven for a stadium in Hollywood Park by Rams owner? Also, the Chargers supposedly have said they are moving unless they get a new stadium? Finally, there is another stadium in Carson that is being proposed?

Well, based on everything you just posted, the chances are pretty damn good

Chargers and Raiders proposing to build a joint stadium in Carson. Rams proposing to have a stadium for themselves in a different site.
The team with the best chance of leaving is the Chargers. The people of San Diego don't give a shite about sports and the Chargers have been begging for a stadium for years, to no avail. The Raiders have the second best chance imho as O.co coliseum is atrocious but the city of Oakland has made it clear that (a) they will not give a dime of public money towards a stadium nor will they (b) give the Raiders the land to build it for free. The big issue on the NFL owner's side is that Mark Davis probably doesn't have the money to pay for this move and he would need to bring in another investor or two.
The Rams have the worst chance for leaving but you never know.
At least one of these teams is going to be in LA. The market is too fricking huge to NOT have an NFL team.

This surprises me. I always thought the Chargers had great support in San Diego.
I have to think that if a stadium is actually being built now that at least one team does in fact relocate. And if that stadium is being built by Rams owner? I suppose that he could sell it to investors and stay in Saint Louis?

They do. Spanos wants downtown and wont get it

A few years ago the city of San Diego entered into a contract to buy any unsold tickets from the chargers to avoid blackouts. This program cost a shite load of money and the second the city could, they got out of it. Think about that. In the city of San Diego they couldn't sell out Chargers games. Hell when they recently played the Raiders Carr said it felt like a home game.

They won't be playing in Inglewood

City of Oakland is presenting their final proposal next week at NFL meetings Nov 11th and it includes the land where the current stadium is (unclear whether free or just largely discounted) so there's still a decent chance it comes together.
Will know soon enough.

Would it be multipurpose?... or are the As stuck in the coliseum?

Wait, L.A. doesn't have one team, but might end up with 3? Wtf

They had issues getting the Padres a stadium 10+ years ago. It would be refreshing to see a city call a team's bluff and say "ok, go ahead and leave town."

Is that really what happened with the Seattle thing?

The Sonics had to stay for two more years as a lame duck because of their contractual obligations. Seattle let them walk in exchange for getting the Cleveland Browns deal.

Rams have a nearly complete new stadium package
The other 2 teams have nothing.
The issue though is like most, the rams owner wants the frick out of St. Louis.
It's a tricky situation turning down free money to leave though and puts the NFL and other owners in a bad spot when their times come up.
Interesting indeed.

It is interesting to follow. All three want to go, but each team has a unique set of circumstances to deal with.
The owner of the Rams has land in LA, but St. Louis is furthest along in a new stadium deal. The Raiders and Chargers want to go in together on a new stadium, but it doesn't seem as far along and I don't think they have a ton of traction in their current locations either.
I think it sucks when teams move, but LA should have a team (it was dumb that both the Rams and Raiders left at the same time). I believe the NFL owners are supposed to vote on something at their next meeting in January 2016, and I think there will definitely be one or two teams in LA in the next two years.
