I'm curious to see if there were any other incidents with what is going on with manny and floyd. Also Fedor vs Brock would have been huge but management failure there too.

You can throw in GSP versus Silva too. That won't happen.

Spinks Holmes 2. Holmes was jobbed and was chasing a record and was never given a chance at redemption. Spinks knew it was a job and never attempted to give him a rematch.

Lennox Lewis would've hurt Bowe. His jab was devastating. I still can't believe Rahman beat Lewis.

Same but I don't think it's gonna happen. AS is getting old for fighting I think 37? I don't expect him to have too many more fights.

Trinidad/RJJ should've happened around the turn of the century.....that fight would've been epic.

Chuck Liddell/Shogun also should've happened about a decade earlier

currently (and as previously mentioned): gsp/silva

There are tons but these are the 2 I dream about the most

MMA
Wandy vs Chuck in their primes

Boxing
Ike Ibeabuchi vs Vitali Klitschko

and FYI Trinidad and Roy Jones were 2-3 weight classes apart that was never at any point a realistic fight

Also Foreman vs. Holmes should have happened but Foreman flaked out just before Holmes could get his title shot.

Biggest fight in MMA that never did happen has to be Kazushi Sakuraba vs Rickson Gracie in Pride.Sakuraba defeated Royler, Royce, and Renzo and the fight with Rickson never took place.

I thought Larry Holmes was best heavy I ever saw, he never ducked anyone.

I wished Marlon Starling wasn't such a dumbass, he would've been a great fighter.

ETA:
quote:

Marlon Starling and Larry Merchant after being knocked out by Molinares: [Only registered and activated users can see links] Starling: "Do I look knocked out, do I look like I'm wobbled?" Merchant: "Well you only have to be knocked out for 10 seconds." Starling: "I wasn't knocked out, I wasn't knocked down!" Merchant: "What has your doctor told you, has he told you that he thinks you have a broken leg, did they want to take you out?" Starling: "I can go another round!" ... Merchant: "Thank you Marlon."

they still put on a damn good show though when they fought. Best thing about chuck and wandy they always went for it. Now you have fighters who try to coast to victory instead of going for the jugular every time.

yes they did.

same with Hendo/Shogun, they both put on a hell of a fight, but I still wish we could've witnessed it back in their prime/Pride days.

and I honestly don't want to see Jon Jones/Silva. I don't think it'd be close or fair. I would however like to see AS/GSP....but we'll never see either.
