Does anybody know what type of changes the owners and players respectively are trying to bring?

I would assume television revenue would be a large issue.
Also, not sure if this is an item to be collectively bargained, but advertisements on jerseys will be coming soon, not sure though if the players get cut in on that or not

I remember early last year adam silver said that some teams were still losing money which seems like bullshite. The players got reamed last cba, hopefully they have managed their money well.

It's not, but it was just a couple teams like the Nets and Wizards iirc.
Big sticking point seems to be % of money the players get from the new tv deal.

International revenue and development.
The NBA is going into China and India in a big way, and it is already starting to pay dividends.
Then there are issues like the local TV deals; right after the last CBA in 2011, the Lakers signed a 20 years, $200 million a year deal worth $4 billion, with a 5 year add on option for another billion. No one else can touch that, and it creates a real disparity among teams when the Lakers might pull in $200M in extra revenue- who cares about an overcap penalty at that point?
Players are likely to get a better deal than this last time around, though.

There was a push for a hard cap last time around and mark cuban said recently that if the players want a greater share of revenue than they will have to give up guarantees.
