Westbrook - A better version of what Rose was supposed to be

I never got the overall adoration that was shed on Rose.
He was a slashing "pg", liked the offense (shots) to flow through him...had a shitty jumper...never shot threes and gets hurt all the time.
Westbrook is better now than Rose was at his best IMO.
They have similar game except Westbrook can hit jumpers and plays through pain.
What he is doing right now is insane....I have to put him at 2nd in the MVP race behind Curry.

NOBODY on the 8th seeded team will win the MVP...And they shouldn't either.

Westbrooks game is a lot smoother than Rose. Notice the way they both jump and land on the court after making a move.
Rose is too much herky jerky stuff and one of the reasons I'd guess his body keeps breaking down.

NOBODY has won the MVP when missing 15 games since the 70's.
So the chances of a guy missing 15 games and winning the MVP on the 8th seeded team is not good, not good at all.

He's uber talented. He still shoots too much. He could be what Dwyane Wade was, but he's way too selfish.
