After an impressive encouraging upset win over LA. Disapointing efforts against Memphis and discombogulated (sp) Washington, the Hornets have lost two in a row and are currently getting beat by double digits to New Jersey in the second half.

Very upsetting considering this teams main strength is team effort, the rooks and cp3. All have been playing below how they have played in the past.

As a side note. If DC is traded I'd really like to see MT5 come off the bench next year. He just doesn't get enough touches early on in games and has been struggling of late since being inserted in the starting lineup

Idk man. Games like these and 60 point playoff losses are fanhood changers for life.

I can have no pride in this team

Just be like me and blame it on Tim Floyd leaving and bower actually having to coach.

I understand what you coming from. I just like the way Collison and Thornton stepped up, that was really impressive and unexpected.

This is the kind of losses that get coaches and GMs fired.

Luckily, ours is both.

Sounds more like rebellion than quitting. This team already got one coach fired this year, after Bower lobbying publicly to keep the status quo, maybe the players are trying to send Shinn a message.

why the hell would we trade DC? and what would that have to do with marcus anyway? and frick the bench MT needs to start, every game, forever, period.

Because he could be more valuable to another team than the Hornets. Plugging the hole at SF or C and a salary dump helps the Hornets more than having DC being the 6th man. You don't trade him for just anything but his value should be pretty high this offseason so there may be some good deals out there.

Yeah, I don't get the MT > as 6th man either. If you have someone that can push him to the bench then fine, otherwise alot of the MT as 6th man seems to be fantasy/video game mentality focusing on per minute stats. It'd be one thing if he averaged 20 ppg as the 6th man and 18 ppg as the starter, but I just don't see that happening.

They have to cut loose Peja and some of the other vets. They also have the option of trading in on Collison's rising value in order to get a legit center.
