One of the broadcasters for the CarreerBuilder tournament said he'd be pretty surprised if Phil didn't win either in San Diego, Phoenix, or at Pebble Beach.

He played really well last weekend, and he should really only get better.

If Rickie has the hightops, it's already over.

Phil is Phil. How Phil will play any given week is unpredictable. It always has been. 2013 has probably two of the best examples.

Farmers Insurance Open T-51
Phoenix Open WON wire to wire by 4 after an opening 60
AT&T Pebble Beach T-60 as defending champ

Those events were 3 weeks in a row. Later in the year there was a better example of Phil. In 7 starts he went

Wells Fargo Championship 3rd
Players Championship Cut
Fed Ex St Jude Classic 2nd
US Open 2nd
Greenbrier Classic Cut
Scottish Open WON
Open Championship WON

Dude has always been the definition of unpredictable and boom or bust.

Watch out for Snedeker this week. In good form and usually plays well at Torrey Pines.

I would love to see Chris Riley catch lightning in a bottle this week and play well.

Wasn't this the course Tiger used to own? Some called it his "home" course.

Sneds has five top 10s in nine appearances here while Rickie is coming off a high. Matsuyama likely to make a statement with his ballstriking this week. And Finau is just going to be my horse all year until the market catches up.
