The only major moves were JMU and Sam St. As always will bold the good conferences.
1 Jacksonville State (2-1) 3834 (93) 1
2 Coastal Carolina (3-0) 3676 (36) 2
3 North Dakota State (2-1) 3555 (17) 4
4 Illinois State (2-1) 3353 (2) 5
5 Villanova (2-1) 3346 (4) 6
6 South Dakota State (2-0) 3049 (6) 7
7 UNI (2-1) 3029 9
8 Chattanooga (2-1) 2585 10
9 James Madison (3-0) 2522 12
10 Liberty (2-1) 2460 15
11 Eastern Washington (1-2) 2358 14
12 Sam Houston State (0-2) 1905 3
13 Youngstown State (2-1) 1861 16
14 Montana (1-2) 1675 8
15 Montana State (1-1) 1612 11
16 Fordham (2-1) 1601 18
17 Portland State (2-0) 1446 19
18 Eastern Kentucky (1-1) 1013 21
19 Richmond (2-1) 993 22
20 Cal Poly (1-2) 758 17
21 New Hampshire (1-2) 753 13
22 Indiana State (2-1) 723 23
23 Southeastern Louisiana (2-1) 702 20
24 Harvard (1-0) 549 25
25 McNeese State (2-0) 502 NR
Some thoughts about the week.
I find it stupid that Montana does'nt get punished for losing but others get it for winning.
Sam St getting beat by a back up QB and after a bye week shows they may not be ready yet
The MVC went 4-1 in marquee games, proving they are the best, and the one they lost was @ Coastal by 7.
Nova QB and Payton Award winner out for next game with knee injury, having MRI today
McNeese re-enters the poll.
Valley has 6 teams in it again.
UNH losing and being dropped so far is good, as they are not just seeing names.
JMU in top 10 is okay, but I am not sure they are a top 10 team.

So bold the Big Sky.

The Sky is a joke and gets by on reputation.

No it is proven, plus you needed to be around when I started doing this 3 years ago.
But the Sky overall is not as deep as the MVC or SLC. They have lived off their reputation last few years. There are quality teams in the Sky, but as a whole it is not a great conference anymore.
Wait until we start banging on the SoCon or CAA also.

Not as deep as the SLC? That's just not true.

Yes it is...your opinion and my opinion on this wont change so I am not going to engage this argument.

SLU gets dropped for getting beat by a FBS team?!?!
Okie dokie. Can't wait for next Thursday to watch Lamar get their red asses beat.

Lamar beating Sam with a backup...they may actually be pretty decent.
It will be interesting to see what they do to Nova if they lose to Penn without their starting QB.
Him missing also has thrown the Payton Award into flux, as you basically have had to play in every game to win it. As Adams, who should have won it got punished for being hurt.

Lamar may be decent, and their running back is legit, but they look like they have NO defense. Also, I was really thinking SHSU would be a championship contender this year but they have been less than impressive in their two games. Lamar won't put up 550 yards of offense against SLU, and this is the team that we rushed for over 450 yards on last year. Even without BB3 this team can run the ball, it will be a great game.
Thanks for posting the FCS poll every week btw

Watched part of Villanova and Delaware. Blue hens not what they were.

So is Lamar legit or Sam Houston a phony?

Only big games that are from a national standpoint this week are
SLO @ Montana St--We will see what the Sky is up to finally.
Liberty @ SIU--SIU has a bad record, good offense, but not been at home yet losses @ IU and SEMO.
I think the game under the radar is NAU Montana as Montana is either good or bad, this game will tell us. I think they are bad and NAU is decent. Give Montana a year or so.
