He's the last safety I can think of who had the playmaking ability that Mathieu has.

That's offensive to Ed Reed at this point.

How?

Because Ed Reed is one of the top safeties ever, and Tyrann Mathieu is 24.

I don't remember Reed ever being called Honey Badger...so no, Honey Badger is the original Honey Badger.

So you can't compare a young player's play, who was just named All Pro, to a Hall of Famer without being offensive?
That is just silly. No one said or even implied that they are equals or that TM7 has had a better career.

Yes...and you can put a ton of others in that list.

what a stupid title. Mathieu is the only honey badger.

Mathieu is more like Charles Tillman than Ed Reed

Ed Reed is the greatest football player I have ever seen.
Posted on 8/3/16 at 9:53 am to Moustache
No.
Is Honey Badger the modern day Ed Reed? Maybe, we will see.

That's such a great play. His guy is trying to cover up then tries to trip him up because he has no idea tGOAT has different designs for how the play is going to end.

It is way, way to early to compare Tyrann to Ed, and I think Tyrann is amazing.
