Some Cajuns fans are unhappy

My favorite:

They don't have to be exclusively UL, but they do have to refrain from thrusting a rival school's colors in my face

Is there a reason you linked a thread from February from another board, about a restaurant, on the MSB?

They are still bickering about it as of today, and the subject is our "rivalry" more so than the pub. If this is yesterday's news for you, keep walking.

And ULL fans don't really want to make LSU their rival. They fully understand that LSU plays on a national level while ULL just hopes to compete on the Sun Belt level.

(I made it through 1 1/2 pages of that thread. It was all I could take)

Will you start a 'next step' thread for ULL football? I got all sorts of questions. By next step, I mean how are facilities looking? Any new projects planned? How is recruiting going? Any coaching turnover? These are things I need to know. How will yall keep the momentum going?

ETA: and I want this thread for reasonable discussion only. Also, what's the roster turnover look like?

I'll start one when we know more. We had some assistants up for other jobs but no one has left.

There's no way I can start that thread and have it remain on topic, btw

You don't have to go to other teams message boards to feel sorry for people.

I had to laugh when I saw this
I remember that thread from last feb

Reminds me of the ragin pagin crowd crying about the team stores in the front of lafayette area albertsons having a lot of lsu stuff. Who really gives a shite?

It's interesting, there's a big mural in the restaurant that is painted on a room divider, with UL and LSU stuff that says "house united." I wish I had a picture of it.

I rather like eating there. Plenty of TVs and scenery. The view aint bad. I was never big on the one in Baton Rouge.

The sooner people just acknowledge that UL is the states second university and that they are currently not a threat to LSU's supremacy, the happier they will actually be.

And I am an LSU and Tulane alum that lives in Lafayette.

I think it's really the vast minority. I think that Lafayette wants to provide support to the local university, but as far as pulling for football teams, most of the folks I know that follow college football actually pull for both teams.

Yeah
The local am sports guy is the ragin Cajuns pbp guy and the butthurt Cajun fans that call in about LSU topics are pretty funny

Only Lafayette area LSU fans care about the ULL fans being butthurt about LSU. The rest of the world doesn't care.
